Alona Vibe Zalando Fredesblog

Not too long ago I teamed up with Frede from Fredesblog to shoot 4 looks for a guide to jeans for Zalando.
If you want to know what she is wearing or know the easy peasy way to find those perfect ones you can find Fredes guide for the first two looks right here.

Frede called me out for this job and it came with perfect timing as I've been wanting to collaborate more with other creatives over than just shooting things - like products, fashion etc.

Not to exclude that of the latter, but there is something about connecting and working with an other creative human and personality that is max up-lifting and brings ideas to the table that one can not get or create as good alone. A way of working with photography that I will do more of in the future, alongside with my own projects.

Frede has this unpretencious approach to blogging that I admire. She's grounded, sweet and a hardworking lady. Sorrounding yourself with qualities like that in your work-life sparks good things.

About a month ago I did a quick streetstyle shoot with model/actress Isabell Röden.
We shot 4 summer styles in 5 degrees in the Meatpacking District in Copenhagen.
Here is a small selection of photos and also my first 'Behind the Photoshoot' video (in the bottom).
This video is made with the purpose of opening up for people to see the process of how some of these photos were made. Please let me know if you have ideas for things to include in the future, or general feedback and subscribe if you want to keep posted.
A massive thanks to babe Frida Molsted for videotaping the whole thing!

Camera. Canon 5D mk III
Lenses. EF 35mm f/1.4 & EF 50mm f/1.2

The video is shot on a Canona 80D and as a 'vlog'.
Doing these sort of educational videos is something I will try to do more in the future.
Eventually in better quality and providing more info about the settings and general personal tips.
But first I have to get over the shyness and akwardness of standing in front of the camera and talk with my lisping!
Hope you enjoy or get something out of it.

More posts.

I've decided to challenge myself the next 3 months by sharing more posts of everyday life and less curated content in between the bigger photo projects.

I decided to do so because of two reasons. 1. I'm curious to see what might happen to my creativity when the task is to tell the smaller everyday stories. 2. It makes it possible for me do shorter posts which doesn't take the reader 10 minutes to get through and me days to write and organize. I hope that in this way the smaller posts can contain the more personal stuff and the portfolio and work related posts can be more focused on its core.

When all this is said I know myself and there is a huge risk that I will totally fail in this challenge. I love the blog medium and around twice a week I browse my favorites for inspiration. Blogs of everything from lifestyle, fashion, photo, design, tech. I can't even grasp how much time and effort it must take to keep a blog constantly updated if you only do it part-time. Which is probably also the reason why I chose to call this section a Journal in the first place - it's me trying to avoid committing to do post regularly. Let's see how the challenge will go!
